Did you know that by just packing your stuff more
efficiently, you can save money on storage by renting a smaller unit? This is
one of the most straightforward methods for lowering storage building rental
costs. It's crucial to pack efficiently!
- Stack your belongings: Storage spaces can have high ceilings.
Stackable bins and furnishings should be used to completely occupy the space.
- Disassemble bulky furniture: To stack and store furniture in less
space by removing chair and table legs.
- Fill hollow spaces: Fill any
empty space such as drawers, shelves, cabinets with smaller items to maximize
space.
- Allow access from front to back: Leave an open area down the middle
by stacking in the back first then down either side of the unit. This allows maximum accessibility if you need
something in the future located at the back of your unit.
- Stacking boxes: Put the
largest and heaviest boxes on the bottom and work your way up putting the
lightest boxes on the top. Avoid gaps in
space by filling every nook and cranny.
